I'll have to admit for my first KISS show, I may have went over board on souveniers. But I don't regret my purchases. I also snagged a cool HOTTER THAN HELL baseball jersey and a retro looking DESTROYER t-shirt along with the Tour book.

Something very unique was the chance to have the actual concert preserved on a 2-disc CD set for a mere $30. I paid my money, received a voucher card that I presented after the show, and received my CD (first half of show only). Then today, (18th) I logged into the website and entered my special code to receive the special packaging by mail, that will include the entire show (with "the longest encore ever!)
~
My only complaints about the concert were that BUCK CHERRY's sound quality was sub-standard (but I am finding that with a lot of opening bands these days). With regard to KISS, my complaint was one I have had for years about Paul Stanley's singing ~ I don't think he should try to extend notes and try to reach that "high register," that seems beyond his range.
~
Other than that, the show was incredible. I read a lot of complaints about Tommy Thayer's playing not being as good as Ace Frehley. Well, granted I never saw Ace play live, only know what I have heard on Alive & Alive II. I think Tommy matched his playing note for note where it counted and did just fine for his solo (visually awesome by the way, loved the Space theme going on in the background.)
~
Eric Singer's solo was pretty cool too. My only complaint was when I was expecting the drum riser to levitate it didn't, but when it did I was sad that the "scissor" part wasn't covered with that "cat image banner thing," that was used on Alive II.
~
So all in all, I think it was a pretty awesome show and I am thankful I had the opportunity go see them LIVE!
